Assassins Creed Syndicate - Live Reveal & Trailer!

Well, here it is guys. The brand new instalment of the Assassins Creed series has finally arrived, titled Syndicate. Based in London during the Industrial Revolution, we follow our new Assassin, Jacob. Funnily enough, the combat has taken a very personal approach. Its much closer and features a lot of the weaponry used in that period, such as the hidden blades and brass knuckles in giant gang fights! Everything seems very direct, gory and fast paced but its character is what has drawn me in. Every game based in London loves picking up on Jack the Ripper, what will stop these? Could Jacob be Jack? Could those he murdered be spies for the Templars? I'm officially calling it. Jack the Ripper is our Jacob.

Hopefully we will see a return to Assassins Creed that is truly worthy of the next gen consoles that we all deserve!

Soon we will have an official trailer to show everyone who missed out on the live showing so stick around for more information!

Assassins Creed Syndicate will be dropping on the 23rd October for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.

Well, that's it guys! A wonderful show with heartfelt tributes, gorgeous music, good laughs and brilliant films. With 7 awards falling into the hands of Gravity, it is the top movie of the night by the night ultimately belongs to 12 Years a Slave. Congratulations to all and if you want to see the most retweeted image in history, be sure to go to Ellen Degeneres' Twitter to find out what all the fuss is about. Speaking of Ellen, her light hearted approach stands well away from Seth Macfarlane's raw and energetic attitude but personally seemed a little safe after all of the press over Seth's actions.

Meat Loaf LIVE Last Bat Out! - Birmingham NEC - Quick Review!

I'm still having trouble remembering which day it actually is seeing I spent more time travelling than actually at the concert, so do excuse the size of my review!

As you can see on the poster, it says a concert in 2 parts! The first half is a mix of his newer stuff and anything else after Bat out of hell. The second act is the whole album with film snippets from a documentary between songs and then a few little extras throughout. One being the guitar solo from Lynyrd Skynyrd's Free Bird on a Union Jack Guitar!

Practically raised on the album as a kid, this was a must. We only heard about it a few weeks ago and found there were tickets available! (Should still have some about!) So Dad and I jumped in the car and travelled 3 hours up to Birmingham's LG/NEC arena. The show was about 2 hours 30 minutes and surprisingly was filled with more middle-aged men than many my age!

Meat Loaf is getting old, no doubt about it. He has lived the rock n' roll life and is defiantly showing the signs of age. His voice is very raw and can't compare to the past, yet he is aware of this and toned himself down and pushed the music up a little more to compensate for it. However in recent years he is looking a lot thinner than before, it probably has something to do with the movement of his hands when he is signing... All I could hope was that the camera group wouldn't use Photoshop on the footage...

Tickets were a decent price, accessibility was very good and left us with a few empty rows behind us to jump about and sing Bat Out Of Hell and I'd Do Anything For Love (Still feeling it in my throat). I got a few little bits to say I had been, I also got a couple tiny videos, which I shouldn't really have taken. I will also stick a few of the pictures I took below for you to peek at. If you wish to see the videos, leave a comment below and I shall upload them!

Overall, the show was great fun, great music and a great atmosphere. I'm normally used to seeing people bleeding with no shirts on or things along those lines when I come out of a show but it was fairly civilised!
A must-see for any Meat Loaf fan! GET SOME TICKETS!

Just before the show, you can see that we were a little far back but next to some beasty speakers!
Mid-show, sorry for the lack of quality. My phone doesn't zoom in to far!

Oscars 2013 [Pre-event]

http://www.filmofilia.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/OSCAR-2013-Promo-Poster-02.jpg

The internet is a buzz with rumour. The media is waiting with baited breath, the public waits eagerly. Can Daniel Day-Lewis score the third Oscar to make Oscar history. The glitz and glamour may be what attracts some here, but we are here for the full event. Seth Macfarlane is preparing to host the biggest time in the year for the film industry, will he be better than Steven Fry at the Grammys? (I really don't know!)
Personally I missed out on seeing most of the movies in cinema apart from Django, which I'm very distraught about!
Everyone, enjoy the Oscars. Keep rooting for your favourites and let us know who you want to win and for what categories!

Watch it on the Sky Movies Oscars channel or on the live Google stream [Live now] at 1:30AM here in the UK!

I will return tomorrow hopefully to with a nice list for everyone to digest!
